“Shield”

The “Shield” series constant-floating type oil booms manufactured by company «Ecoservice Oil» are designed for efficient containment of oil, petroleum products and other pollutants spilled over water surface by the means of oil booms arrangement on the special boards.
  The core of “Shield” series oil boom board is made of special polymer tissue 2 or 3 mm thickness. This material is perfectly resistant to oil, gasoline, mineral oil, sea water and ultraviolet influence.
  Floating units of “Shield” series oil boom are made of polyethylene, polystyrene or PVC.
  All connectors of “Shield” series oil booms are made from anodized aluminum and designed as Z-shaped quick connecting clamps.
  The “Shield” series oil boom section length is of 15-30 m.
  The “Shield” series oil booms are effective at the velocity of the flow up to 1,5 m/s.
  Storage and operation ambient temperature recommended for “Shield” series oil booms should be within the range from -30°С to + 60°С.
  Recommended range of application of the “Shield” series oil booms:

• containment of oil/petroleum product outflow that can occur in rivers, lakes and their port water areas, 
• construction of a stationary localizing barrier nearby industrial facilities (on-loading terminals, oil-field equipment, main underwater oil pipeline passages etc.).
