Description
Vacuum oil skimmer “Vac-1” is designed for recovery of oil and other contamination from water surface and from the ground.
Thanks to the compact design and low weight of the skimmer it can be efficiently used in remote areas, where it is not possible to deliver heavy equipment.
The design of the skimmer allows gathering oil in circle steps: filling of the hopper – discharge – refilling. Recovered substance can be pumped or inside the 250 liter capacity hopper or in standard 200 liter steel drums.
Filling and discharging the hopper is carried out with one pumping power plant block. When filling the hopper the vacuum pump creates considerable vacuum in the whole system, while discharging the hopper the vacuum pump works in a reverse way and creates necessary overpressure in the hopper.
Considerable vacuum created in the system by special vacuum pump allows recovering the substances of rather high viscosity, inclusive oil residues with considerable content of concrete particles (size up to 30 mm).
Maximum vacuum oil skimmer “Vac-1” capacity is 10 m3/h.
